Before Treatment
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, you're welcome to bring a friend or family member.
Should I eat before treatment? Yes, have a small meal or snack at least an hour before to avoid lightheadedness.
Do I need to bring anything? If necessary, any relevant medical reports like X-rays, MRIs, or blood tests, and a list of medications and supplements.
What should I wear? Loose, comfortable clothing that can be rolled up if needed.
Is treatment safe during pregnancy? Yes, our practitioners are trained to treat pregnant women safely.
Do I need an appointment? Yes, bookings are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted if available.
During Treatment
What happens in my first session? We'll do a consultation, receive a diagnosis, and begin treatment.
What about follow-up treatments? Your practitioner will check on progress, adjust treatment, and let you rest.
What do I do during treatment? Relax, rest, or even nap while the acupuncture takes effect.
What treatments will I receive? It depends on your condition and may include acupuncture, cupping, or Hijama.
Is parking available? Yes, we have ample parking, including disability access.
After Treatment
Can I combine acupuncture with other treatments? Yes, but ideally on alternate days to avoid overstimulation.
Do I need to continue if I feel better? Yes, stopping too soon may cause symptoms to return.
How do I know if treatment is working? You’ll notice reduced pain or longer relief between sessions.
How long until I see results? Some feel immediate relief, while others need multiple sessions.
Is lightheadedness after treatment normal? Yes, it can happen due to blood pressure or sugar changes, especially if fasting.
Can I exercise after treatment? Avoid intense activity unless advised otherwise.
